My name is Jessica, I am 43 years old, and above all, I am a mother of four. I live in Verneuil-sur-Seine, in the Paris region, where I create every bag, belt bag, and accessory entirely by hand in my studio.

Before embarking on this beautiful adventure, I worked for nearly 15 years in the beauty industry. I was also lucky enough to live in London for 10 years, an experience that enriched me greatly. Then, the birth of my twins changed my perspective and made me want to get closer to what I was truly passionate about.

Sewing has always been a part of my story. My grandmother, a sewing and handicrafts enthusiast, passed on to me a love for handmade work and creativity. Thanks to her, I learned that creating an object with one's own hands is much more than a skill: it is a way to transmit love.

During the Covid period, I started making fabric masks for my family and loved ones. I then took a sewing course to perfect my techniques and bring my project to life.

Today, every creation is imagined, cut, and sewn by me. I carefully select my fabrics and pay particular attention to the smallest details to offer you accessories that are practical, elegant, and durable.

Why BasilicToumToum?

BasilicToumToum is a nod to my childhood and my Swedish grandmother. In our family, that's what we called the tomato and basil toasts she prepared with love. Even today, the smell of fresh basil instantly takes me back to those precious memories.

By choosing this name for my brand, I wanted to pay tribute to those moments of sharing and gentleness that still inspire me today. This is the spirit I try to convey in each of my creations.
